Mall of Africa is the biggest single-phase shopping mall developed in South Africa, covering an area of 131 000m². The massive shopping complex opened its doors on the 28th of April 2016 in the heart of Waterfall, a place which is in Midrand between Johannesburg and Pretoria.

Mall of Africa boosts of over 300 tenants that include H&M, Forever 21, Cotton On, Hamleys, Zara, Mugg & Bean, Pick n Pay, RocoMamas, Sorbet, Pentravel, Game, Bang & Olufsen, Versace, River Island, CNA just to mention a few. The massive shopping centre cost an estimated R4.5 Billion to complete and is beyond anything that South Africans have known before.

Mall of Africa consists of two levels of shopping stores and a two-level basement parkade. It has a combination of international standard designs and environmentally friendly features which were inspired by the new trend of having a walk-able, mixed use centre.
